Hello everyone,
my "mission" is to install the Sitara Linux SDK on a SD card and boot Ubuntu 12_4 from that card.
After the steps described below, i have a partitioned sd card with boot and rootfs. On boot there is MLO, i-boot.img and uImage.
The point is, i can´t boot up the BBB from the Card. Neigther by holding the BOOT button on power up or button 3 or reset where i read about "somewhere"
If the BBB is connected via USB to the Host and pressing the BOOT button after a while the Host sees a boot drive as an external storage - but the BBB´s LED remain dark.
The SD card is 32GB of Speedgrade 10.
Has someone an idea what i could have done wrong?
best regards!
1.)
I started with a Ubuntu 12_4 in a virtualBox on a Win7 Host and prepared that Ubuntu according to
by installing the listed packeges plus "apt-get install lsb" which i read about in the link
docs.google.com/.../edit
found in thread

2.)
Created a SD card according to
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Sitara_Linux_SDK_create_SD_card_script
and selected to use default images
