Confusion on SYS/BIOS critical defect applicability

Upon review of the SYS/BIOS Product Download Pages, I note there are three critical bug fixes related to the GateMutexPri module listed.

For SYS/BIOS 6.35 –

    6.35.06.56 (using CCSv5.4.0) – SDOCM00113824, SDOCM00113821

For SYS/BIOS 6.37

    6.37.05.35 (using CCSv5.5.0) – SDOCM00113825, SDOCM00113822

For SYS/BIOS 6.40

    6.40.04.47 (using CCSv6.0.0) – SDOCM00113826, SDOCM00113823

Is there one defect per CCS version or are there three separate defects that need to incorporated.  Given the defect ID numbering and identical defect text description, I’m presuming the answer is one per CCS version, but would like this confirmed.

Thank you for your assistance.

  • Hi Christopher,

We had found two critical bugs with the GateMutexPri module in SYS/BIOS which affected several releases.  So we filed the same two bugs (and fixed them) for each affected release.  The CCS versions are just to let you know the CCS requirement for each version of SYS/BIOS (for ex. SYS/BIOS 6.40.04.47 only supports CCS6.0.0 and higher).

    Hope this helps,
