Hello!

I've got problem with loading u-boot-spl.bin: after connecting via minicom I get "��" chars. How to fix it? (this board has broken lcd, but I think that broken lcd could not affect on boot process) .

Minicom settings is ok - I have the second one AM335x-EVMSK and it's ok (get "CCCC" in terminal).

Hi Kirill,

You are trying to boot via UART, right?
Can you please try the instructions described here: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../AM335x_U-Boot_User%27s_Guide

Kirill,

In fact broken LCD could affect the boot process. LCD_DATA[15:0] are also the SYSBOOT pins, which configure the boot options for the processor.

Yes, I was trying to boot via UART, but there are was no "CCCC" char at the first step of instruction.

Hello Biser!
Thank for reply. You are right: LCD connector was partly disconnected, and it looks like some pins was short circuit. After fixing lcd connector it's work fine (I've got "CCCC" char).
