New Installation...are Blackhawk files needed?

Hello,

I'm just now installing CC4 for my eZDSP USP Stick tool, using Windows 7.  During the installation, it asked me if I trusted the source for the Blackhawk files.  Since this device is from Spectrum Digital, I just skipped the Blackhawk files.  Was this the right thing to do?
