I have a strange problem with IPCAM DM355, if I run the encode_stream with the command . /encode_stream-g 0-n 1-p 0-u 2-q 50-d-r-e 640x480 640x480-b 4000000 - & befor startinfg the system_server and I look at the flow record 2 seconds after the start all my images are dark but if I start system_server and I stop the process before starting the encode_stream process the encode image is well without dark image.

Can you please confirm the following:
1. Are you using the binary files (encode_stream, system_server) as it is from the release or you have built it?
2. Can you check the system date on your IP camera? One reason of dark frames can be that the capture frames are dark which can happen because of the AE algorithm not working. We have an eval license for AE algorithm that should have expired on 31st Dec 2009 and because of that dark frame might be generating. You can try changing the system date of your camera using "date" command.
3.Can you please share the logs when the failure is happening and when it is working fine?

I use the binary files that i built it but i have not modifies the source code

When i tape date i have "Mon Feb 28 04:17:11 GMT-8 2000 " , so it's lower than "31st Dec 2009"
