We are working on our project for the TI india design contest. We need to record audio as we are building a speech recognition system. But unfortunately we are stuck in recording the audio via usb sound card and microphone. We have tried playing sound, and its working perfect. Infact we are able to play .wav files through aplay command. but somehow arecord is not working. atleast the output is just noise.
