am335x GPTIMER: delay needed to read some GPTIMER

in the PSP 04.06.00.11 release notes, there is the reference to a fix for Errata i103, related to the omap4460 errata.

i103 refers to "Delay needed to read some GPTIMER, etc".


Does this bug affect also AM335x?

It's not listed in the AM335x errata.

If yes, does the suggested workaround for am4460 apply to am335x too?

We're asking the question because we're facing a problem that seems related to this problem in our AM335x system, running kernel 3.12.

    Hi Massimo, yes this errata does apply to AM335x and AM437x. I am actually in the process of getting this into the current errata for both. The workaround described should apply to both AM335x and AM437x as well.
