non-ActiveX for DM8127 RDK

It's been problematic using ActiveX for some time now, and under Windows 8 / IE11 it just doesn't work (I'm open to suggestion). Is there any alternative available for the ActiveX Web interface to the RDK?

Can you open IE as an administrator and check?
