C6474 - AIF for Inter-DSP communication

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C6474

Good morning,

I'm a new member of the TI community. And I wish to use the AIF for inter-DSP communication on my TMS320C6474 Mezzanine EVM Board.

I download and use the dedicated documentations (User's guide and articles). Moreover, I went to this website http://wiki.davincidsp.com/index.php/AIF_Inter_DSP_Communication and I saw that one example code for AIF Inter DSP Communication is available on TI's GForge: https://gforge.ti.com/gf/project/aifinterdsp/.

I sign in on the TI's GForge. I saw the AIF project but as I am not familiar with this tool, I dont' know how to dowload the good files for playing this example on CCS. I send you enclosed a file where you see where I was in TI's GForge. From "Step 2" sheet, I don't know what I have to do for having the zip file (see "Steps.rar").

Could you tell me what I have to do for downloading this example ?

D'avance merci

Bubsy

Note : this post have been updated for adding the enclosed file.

  • Bubsy,

I cannot view your .rar file, unfortunately. At TI, we support zip pretty broadly, and many people may have rar support, but some of us do not.

The gforge site is SO unintuitive that is it unusable the first time you go there. The second and later times, it is fine.

From the link in your post above, click on SVN in the left pane, then click on trunk/ in the list of folders. Then you can click on the IAClib_v1.5.zip and the example .zip file; these will open a page with a couple of "download" links that will get the actual files you want to download.

The downloads are easiest (IMO) in IE. FF puts them in a download folder and adds the extension .part, but they are really .zip files.

Hope this helps. If so, please click Verify Answer; if not, tell us what is still missing.
