Alternative to Beaglebone black with more PRU EGPIO pins available

Dear community,

I am currently developing an application using the PRUSS on the beaglebone black. Unfortunately I would need some more lanes for fast communication to other devices, since there are only 10/15 available on the PRU0/1.

I could not find information on the starter kit from TI. Are there any other good options?

Hi,

You can see information about the different Am335X development boards here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/AM335x_Boards Beaglebone Black has the most exported I/O pins from the boards TI offers. There may be boards from other manufacturers that have more I/O pins available.

Thanks Biser,

I hadn't found the page you are linking to before, a very useful overview of the different boards.

I really considere the egpios of the PRU very powerful, I wish there was a board out there that would give access to all of them...
