Which DSP should I select?

I am looking for a DSP that fits the following needs:

4 SPI ports each is connected to 2 A/D and 1 D/A converters. I need a minimum transfer speed of 6Mbit/sec on each SPI port.

The processor should be a DSP to perform a FFT on 131000 points/s.

Can someone suggest a Processor or even better an evaluation Board that supports these features?

Welcome to the TI E2E forum. I hope you will find many good answers here and in the TI.com documents and in the TI Wiki Pages (for processor issues). Be sure to search those for helpful information and to browse for the questions others may have asked on similar topics (e2e.ti.com).

The number of SPI ports in our DSP processors is limited to 2. However, you could use McBSP interface as SPI to interface A/D and D/A converters.

This support is available in DSP devices like C6713. Please refer below documents for better understanding about McBSP as SPI interface.

Hello,
thank you for the fast response.
If I understand it correctly the maximum of 2 SPI ports is not a problem, if I use 2 Slaves per port and an extra buffer, to measure continuous on every A/D and D/A converter.

Hello Tobias,

If 2 SPI ports are enough, you can use C6748 DSP device for your application. This device has 2 SPI ports with 6 CS on one port and 8 CS on other port.
