Code Composer v6 can't load platform

Hi,

Using code composer 6.0.1.00040 we can't load/edit our platform as we get this:

The path is correct (C:\ti\am335x_sysbios_ind_sdk_1.0.0.8\sdk\platform\am335x) and we can edit the same platform in
Code Composer v5.

John,
which version of XDCtools are you using? Can you also go to Window->Preferences->Code Composer Studio->RTSC, and select SYS/BIOS? RTSC platforms and some supporting files moved from XDCtools to SYS/BIOS recently, which caused some problems when SYS/BIOS is not present or not selected in that tab.

John,
these are project properties. When you run the Platform Wizard, it is not reading properties for any particular project. It is looking at Window->Preferences->Code Composer Studio->RTSC. That's why I wanted to see that tab.
Also, which platform are you trying to edit, PST_1 or SONARtrac_1? If you click on the drop-down list "Package Name" is there anything in there?

Hey Sasha,

Here is the Window->Preferences->Code Composer Studio->RTSC:

We have never used this screen to set anything, only the project settings screen.

That's where the Platform Wizard looks for products to search. When the platforms were in XDCtools, that tab wasn't that important because XDCtools are searched by defaults. Now, when platforms can be in any product, we search only ones selected in that tab. Actually, some newer versions of the Platform Wizard search in all products if nothing is selected in that tab, but your version of XDCtools doesn't have that code.
Anyway, please select SYS/BIOS in that tab and try the Platform Wizard again. If it doesn't work, find the directory .metadata in your wokrspace and post the log file you'll find in that directory.

After selecting our current SYS/BIOS, the edit platform came up fine.

Please note that 1.0.0.8 is a very old Industrial SDK package. This definitely was not tested even on CCS 5.5

Thanks Vinesh,
It was where we originally did the platform editing so we left it there. We are using a newer industrial sdk for almost everything else.
