ICE RS232 interface

Hi folks,

I have an RS232 to USB connection interface. The driver seems to be working because I can see the Prolific driver in the device manager when I plug in the RS232 to USB converted.

The main problem is that CCS v6 cannot detect my ICE board when I plug in the RS232.

What configurations to I need in order to enable this feature?

    Hi,

    The ICE board has an FTDI USB converter chip on-board, which translates both the serial console and JTAG signals over USB. To use it you must plug directly:

    For ICE v1.0 mini USB connector P4 to PC USB connector.

    For ICE v2.1 micro USB connector J13 to PC USB connector.
