XEVMK2EX - K2E Development Board - I'm looking for USB to Serial Adapter

I'm using the Evaluation board and would like to use a USB to serial 9-pin adapter. Does the Ti Yocto Linux provide any drivers for the any adapters.

TI does not provide such driver/libraries. Please refer below link for USB-to-Serial cables,

Robert,

Just so i understand your question, are you saying you want to drive a USB HOST port out to 'usb:uart' adapter?

Or are you looking for drivers for SiLabs VCP device for linux?

I have the EVMK2E evaluation board, it has USB 3 port K , I want to connect a USB to serial 9 pin adapter and "talk" to another computer serially.

This is what i thought you were asking. I don't know of anyone in TI that has done this but i'll check with the BU and Apps.

From google search, the only embedded linux drivers i found are for FTDI. For SiLabs, there is linux kernel 3.x and 2.6x but i'm guessing they are for PC Linux (UBUNTU, etc).
