According to the Sitara AM335x datasheet they are IEEE1588 capable. Is there an Application Note or any support to help to implement IEEE1588 slave system with Sitara AM335x?
What PHY are the recommended to use IEEE1588?
Best Regards,
Joaquin

Hi Joaquin,
I will ask the Ethernet experts to help on this.
Hi Schuyler,
The radio standard allows to use a 100ppb clock precission but we want to have more. It's for a digital telecom radio repeater. We are in the process of selection of the key components (uP, DSP, FPGA, et cetera).
We could use the DP83640 Phy driver or similar that provide us with all the necessary but it's only 10/100 and we need 10/100/1000M.
Why is not available yet with the AM437x? Is it a new part that it's going to come out to the market? Or is it a standard microprocessor AM437x but the functionality is not added to the SDK yet?
What is the precission we can get with the AM335x and the software stack?
In the selection process we are taking into account the AM335x, AM437xx and some other manufacturers.
Best Regards,
Joaquin
