We are interfacing DM8148 with DDR3 device (speed grade DDR3-1866MHz). But in DM8148 datasheet section 8.13.4.2.4.1 Compatible JEDEC DDR3 Devices Note 2 its given that "DDR3 devices with speed grades up to DDR3-1600 are supported; however, max clock rate will still be limited to 533 MHz as stated in Switching Characteristics Over Recommended Operating Conditions for DDR3 Memory Controller". Since we selected higher speed grade device will it affect the device. We are using FPGA which also has got DDR interface. To maintain the uniformity same part has been used. Please confirm whether we can go with the selected part MT41J128M16JT-107:K (Micron)?
