I took the example McASP application under starterware\examples\lcdkC6748\mcasp and put it into a CCS v6 project. It built with no errors. I then took the same project and plugged it into the basic RTOS project (created by CCS). I created HWI's for the two ISRs, and I commented out the functions that manually define the interrupts. I also moved the code from main() into the one task defined in the sample RTOS project. No matter what I do, I keep getting unresolved symbol errors regarding my ISR functions. Sometimes, it complains about one or the other ISR or sometimes both. It also gives a few warnings, stating the ISR functions are declared but never referenced. It also gives a warning: #10229-D output section ".fardata" refers to load symbol "McASPErrorIsr" and hence cannot be compressed; compression "rle" is ignored.
This is done using the C6748 starterware 1.20.4.1, targeting the LCDKC6748, RTOS 2.0.1.23. There is also a checkbox for EDMA3 Low Level Driver 2.11.9. I have tried building the project with teh EDMA3 Low Level Driver checked and not checked; it did not make a difference. I have tried this on multiple machines. On one other machine, the project built initially. When I ran clean, it never built again.
I've attached a zip file with both sample projects (with and without RTOS). I'm guessing I have a configuration problem of some kind (e.g. missing include path) but I cannot figure it out.
