LPDDR3 usage for DM8148

Padmanabhan KS

We are using TMS320DM8148CCYEA0 in the custom board with DDR3 chips currently. Does this support Low Power DDR3 usage? Seems like only DDR3 is supported based on the datasheet.

Alternatively, does any of the other variant of the chip support LPDDR3?

Hi All

Does anyone know whether DM8148 supports 1.35V LP-DDR3?
We have got a notification from one of the chip supplier that 1.5V DDR3 chips would be phased out slowly in next couple of years.

Since we are still in lab prototype phase, we have chance to make design modifications.

Hence the question.

The 1.35V is out of spec I think.
The datasheet(SPRS647E) doesnt mention LPDDR3, and the 6.2 Recommended Operating Conditions it says Supply voltage, I/O, DDR[0] and DDR[1] should be 1.43V~1.58V
