I have two Dm8148 boards. Both boards have stopped Link Training with all the PCIe cards available. Behavior of both boards is similar i.e PCIe port does not link train with any card and all other peripherals work flawlessly.
I have checked the voltages of the PCIe port pins of both boards and they are correct according to standard PCIe port specifications.
With one of the boards the fault occurred when I connected a PCIe switch with it to create a multiple bridge hierarchy . It worked perfectly but from the next time it stopped link training. The other board never link trained at all.
Is it something you have faced before ? Is it an inherent behavior of the boards ? How can it be rectified?
