  • Hi Wenhao Xu,

    Can you provide the "bootargs" here. Seems to be some problem with accessing the NFS filesystem which are you are trying to mount.

    Sid

  • Hi,Sid,

    Thanks for your answer firstly,the following information includes the "bootargs",could you give me some suggestions  to solve the above problem?

    DM6467 HD EVM # printenv
    bootdelay=4
    baudrate=115200
    filesize=1e5674
    fileaddr=80700000
    ipaddr=192.168.0.103
    bootcmd=tftp;bootm
    serverip=192.168.0.8
    bootfile=uImage
    rootpath=/home/jiang/workdir/filesys/
    nfshost=192.168.0.8
    stdin=serial
    stdout=serial
    stderr=serial
    ethaddr=00:0e:99:02:b4:e9
    bootargs=console=ttyS0,115200n8 noinitrd rw ip=dhcp root=/dev/nfs nfsroot=192.16
    8.0.8:/home/jiang/workdir/filesys/,nolock mem=120M davincihd_capture.channel0_nu

  • Hi Wenhao,

    "Looking up port of RPC 100003/2 on 192.168.0.8

    This indicates that the kernel is somehow unable to detect connection over ethernet using the present IP. This may require a little more debugging.

    Can you put in two commands namely "dhcp" (ethernet config) and "minicom" (serial config) and post the output here? It may point out the problme.

    If dhcp gives out faulty output, then probably dhcp hasnt been configured properly. As an alternative, you could go for a static IP and try out the same.

    Post the results for the same.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Sid
