NAND flash for AM3352

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3352

What format BCH8 ECC information is stored in the spare 64 bytes of NAND per every page?

The flash part is used in conjunction with AM3352 processor.  The customer did not tamper with the default settings of the standard development environment for that processor.  Moreover, SYSBOOT9 boot pin is tied low that specifies that ECC is done by ROM which we understand is also BCH8.

  • What BCH8 format the ROM code expects to check SPL.
  • What BCH8 format is used to store Linux, uboot and ubifs by default.
