system time faster than RTC time

Hi,

The system time at our board is faster than RTC time.

In the boot process, system time synced with RTC time. After about 10 hours, system time is faster than RTC time 1 second.

I know that there will be some time drifts.The A8 core crystal at our board is 27Mhz, frequency deviation +/-20ppm. Maybe change the crystal with deviation +/-10ppm could improve this issue. But are there any another way? How could I do at software side(ex. adjust kernel clock frequency etc)?

In multimedia application, we need more precise time stamp. Could someone give me some clues?
