We are using 1.8V LVCMOS compatible oscillator for DEVOSC and AUXOSC input of DM8148. Why inverter needs to be connected at the oscillator output.

Hi Madhura,
If your external clock source meet the timing requirements, I think it should work fine without inverter. The inverter was shown in this figures by the reason this is external clock source, it is used for better schematic view, to highlight that this is external clock source.
