Mechanism to clear all kernel Logs

Hi Experts,

How to clear all the kernel logs in the Linux kernel ?

It includes dmesg,/dev/kmsg,bash_history and any other default logging mechanism employed.

I am clear it individually. Is there any method to prevent it or to turnoff all the logging mechanism ?

Hi,

Which SDK are you using?

For example on my AM335x EVMSK (running SDK8.0, kernel 3.14) I can run:

$ cd /etc/init.d

$ ./syslog stop

And it will stop the syslogd & klogd

Hi Titus,

To remove the histories in the system for security reasons.

No way the logging should be retained in the system.
