examples for TI-RTOS for TivaC with XML problem

Hi

I just installed CCSv6.1, replacing CCSv6.0.1 due several issues in this last CCS.

Now, when I browse driver examples of TIRTOS for TivaC, if I try to install udpEcho and UART Console examples, CCSv6.1 complains saying:

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.


I can't install these examples.

Other examples were installed without problem.

Could you advise what I can do to get udpEcho and USARTConsole installed in my workspace, please?

    Sergio,

    Which version of TI-RTOS are you using?  And how did you install it?

    And to confirm: you can import and build other TI-RTOS examples, just not the udpEcho and UART console examples?

    I am using TI-RTOS 2.10.1.38 and it was installed when I installed CCSv6.1. It was already in c:\ti folder, because I installed it through CCSv6.0.1, but it was not registered inside CCSv6.0.1. This is why I uninstalled CCSv6.0.1 and installed CCSv6.1. When I say that "it was not registered inside CCSv6.0.1" I mean that TI-RTOS 2.10.1.38 was not available in RTSC menu. Only TI-RTOS 2.0.1.23 was. The CCSv6.1 into Windows 8.1 was done with anti-virus disabled.

    And confirming that only udpEcho and UARTconsole have this XML issue. For example, udpEchoIPv6 works normally. UART echo works also.

    Sorry for the delay.  I’ve tried to recreate the problem with a new CCS 6.1.0 install and don’t see an XML issue as you describe.  Both these examples import and build fine for me.  I’m on Windows 7, I don't know if that makes a difference.  

    When you installed v6.1, did you install it into a clean directory?  Or were there maybe some remnants from the previous v6.0.1 install?

    And which TivaC device are you seeing this on?

    And can you please send a snapshot of the RTSC tab (Properties->General->RTSC tab) for one of the projects that is importing properly for you?

    I uninstalled CCS 6.0.1 before install CCS6.1, but, I don't erased any file from previous installation. If uninstall of CCS 6.0.1 don't do this, then, probably files remained in place.

    I am using EK_TM4C1294XL launchpad.

    Anyway, I could go forward without these examples, so, it is not so important for now.

    Follows the RTSC tab from uartEcho:

    What is the name of XML file that is missing? I can search from another installation and copy into the projects that is faulty.
