How to test USB3 PORT 1 in Device Mode?

Dear all:

My hardware is EVMK2E, USB3 PORT 1 is at position J in the picture attached.

How can I enable and test the device mode for USB3 PORT 1? I can see the linux kernel and DWC3 mode is only support Host.

Hi WeiJiang,

In the actual K2E05 EVM from advantech, we looked into the schematics, it supports just the USB host mode though the processor supports both the Host and device mode.

Only Host mode support is available in MCSDK and EVM. Please refer below wiki.

Please know OTG feature will not be supported in Keystone 2 devices, OTG support will be removed from the USB user guide. Keystone 2 devices will supply host or device mode. Please refer more info here.

My Board is from TI not advantech.
So, how long should I wait for USB3.0 Device driver for K2E?

K2E USB device mode has not been tested and is being worked on. We don't have a schedule yet, but it is high priority. Please refer below thread,
