AM1806 SPI Booting

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM1806

Dear Sir.

Our one product is using AM1806 inside.

Boot condition is as follows.

- The boot mode is SPI mode.

- And Flash ROM is 8 bit interface.

- Program size is 300KBytes.

We developed it with AM1806 Silicon Revision 2.1.

In this case, booting time is around 700ms.

But with the one Silicon Revision 2.0,

booting time becomes 3000ms.

I found the following description in the bootloader manual.

E.4 ROMID: D800K008, Silicon Revision 2.1
All peripheral read functions updated to read in chunks of required size,
rather than one 32-bit word at a time (boot time optimization)

Is the difference of booting time caused by Silicon Revision?

Thank you for your reply!!
