I would like to test different serial port on AM3358 EVM . I know that there are 8 different profiles which needs to be selected for using different serial ports . Currently I am using only First serial port ie UART0/ttyO0. As per my understanding following are the UART will be available on different profile as per pin mux document .
UART0 - available on all profiles - present on Base board as DB9
UART1 - available on all profiles - present on COM board -- I don't have COM board , I assume i can t use the same
UART2 - available on profiles 3 and 4 - present on Daughter board as DB9
UART3 - available on profiles 5 - present on Daughter board as DB9
UART4 - available on profiles 2 - present on Daughter board as DB9
UART5 - available on profiles 6 - present on Daughter board as DB9
am I correct?
I could see J10,j11,J12,J14 are the DB9 connector available on daughter board . I dont have lay out of daughter board . Could you please provide lay out of UART .ie which is UART2/3/4/5.
Can I use all the UART by changing CPLD profile and dts file only ?
