Running Speex on C55x USB stick

Hi,

I tried to run the speex codec on C55x USB stick but found that there is not open source support library compatible with C55x.

Is there any free/open source software available to encode voice samples on C55x? Does TI provide any such a support software?

I think, somebody must have worked with encoding voice on C55x. Could you let me know the details.
