Hi,

We are able to put the system into standby/sleep mode manually by using below commands,

echo standby > /sys/power/state
echo mem > /sys/power/state

Environment Setup:

Processor: AM3354

SDK : 7

How to put the system into standby or deepsleep mode automatically if system is ideal for minute?

Please help on this!

Hello Durai,

Unfortunately there is no applicable program in SDK7 to global auto-suspend after certain amount of time.
You should design your own program corresponding to desired requirements.

Thanks for reply, Is there any mechanism to detect the CPU is Ideal like register status or interrupt?

Hello Durai,

You can find such information in procfs:

/proc/uptime

The second number shows how much of that time the machine has spent in idle.

/proc/stat

Gives more detailed information about that.
