Hi Koby,

DM814x device support (see datasheet, 8.13 DDR2/DDR3 Memory Controller)
Memory device capacity: 64Mb, 128Mb, 256Mb, 512Mb, 1Gb, 2Gb, and 4Gb devices

Thus the largest DDR3 chip you can connect to EMIF0/1 is 4Gb (512MB).
