About AM335x Ethernet and TSC

1. The AM335X has an Ethernet switch inside, which can be configured either as a switch or as two independent EMACs.

2. No, multi-touch is not supported with the AM335X TSC.

For answer #1, is application like router( by configure as switch) for example?

For answer#2, I understood that AM335x TSC are not supporting multi-touch.
But is there any solution to make multi-touch available with AM335x? Any external device to connect to AM335x?

#1 Yes, the CPSW switch can forward packets between 2 networks.

#2 I haven't come across a multi-touch solution so far. You can ask this also on the Android forum, where TS usage is more intensive: https://e2e.ti.com/support/embedded/android/f/509

I found following AM335x reference design(eTAB).

In eTAB, multi-touch is supported.
I want to know how multi-touch is realized in eTAB.
Can you please give me details?

Capacitive Dual Touch panel are used, but who controls the dual touch?
Is AM335x controlling?

The TSC in the AM335x is for resistive touch screens.

For capacitive touch screens, an external controller is used.

In most cases, this controller is integrated into the foil cable of the touch screen.
