Hi!

I've searched the questions and answers here, and found out it seems pretty difficult to get a suitable LCD touch screen for the Omapl138 LCDK.

So, I am wondering is it possible to get the graphic linux system from the vga output into a computer screen and connect a mouse and keyboard to operate?

Hello Neal,

The recommended LCD panel for LCDK is CircuitCo ULCD7 Lite LCD.

However you can also interface monitor and keyboard using VGA and USB connectors. Please refer the below thread where you can find the connection details.

Ok, so is it possible to moniter the Linux graphic window trough vga?

Yes Neal, we can see the TI's matrix GUI app through VGA monitor when we boot Linux on OMAPL138.

Yes, I have booted the Linux using the SD card successfully. And there is a TI's logo and a progress bar on the monitor. But is there a way that I can get the Linux graphic system seen on the monitor and control it with mouse and keyboard connected to the board?

And I think I only got the progress bar ,and it stops halfway, just never gonna be full. And no other apps comming up. But on the other side, I can get to the "omapl138-lcdk login: " line through the Tera Term. Which part is wrong?

Hi,sorry for the delay.
I have gone through the link you gave me last time. Is it the only way to get the Matrix GUI working on my LCDK? Because it involved something like Sitara_SDK but I am using the LCDK, I'm getting a little confused.
