SDK 8.0 pre-built images broken?

After installing SDK 8.0 and running create-sdcard.sh with pre-built option, resulting sdcard boots Debian. I'm suspecting the sdcard did _not_ boot and instead the default BeagleBone Debian image booted from emmc. The sdcard boot and rootfs partitions appear to be intact. Console shows:

U-Boot SPL 2014.04-00014-g47880f5 (Apr 22 2014 - 13:23:54)
reading args
spl_load_image_fat_os: error reading image args, err - -1

If the SDK pre-builds are indeed broken, is there a workaround or repository where updated prebuilds can be acquired.?

Did you hold down the user button when you applied power? If not, you booted from the eMMC.

Thanks for reminding me about the user button. sdcard bootup _is_ working.

I got use to working with a Debian sdcard where it auto-boots sdcard if one is present.
