Profiling not getting enabled on TMDSEVM6670L EVM

Thanks for the quick responses.

However, if you see the profile setup window snapshot shown at the link you provided (http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Profiler, and the one attached in my original query, the key difference is that the "Activity" list is not visible.

Additionally, thanks to the links shared by Ganapathi, I found a PPT mentioning that function profiling is not supported for C66x hardware (see slide 7 of http://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/training/modules/profiling/CCSv5-Profiling.pptx

Sorry, my previous reply is somehow corrupted.

In the CCSv5-Profiling PPT, it has been mentioned that function profiling is supported only for C6x simulator (and not for c6x hardware). However, this information seems ambiguous, since I have used function based profiling with 6487 DSP and CCS3.3 few years back. Can you please confirm if this is the correct the interpretation of Slide 7 of this PPT?

Lastly, can you please share information on how to move this query to toolchain forum, since it is indeed a toolchain related query.
