Iam trying to enable the heap in dsp/bios .But it showing the same error as

js: "./trian1.tcf", line 13: Heaps are enabled, but the segment for DSP/BIOS Objects (MEM.BIOSOBJSEG) is not set correctly. Please create a heap in one of your data segments and set MEM.BIOSOBJSEG to it. S omeBODY PLS HLP ME.

Hi sruthy,

Which device you are working with, is it TI EVM or your own custom Board?

What is version of CCS you are using ? Try to use latest version .

Which version of DSP/BIOS you are using?

Could you attach the "trian1.tcf" bios configuration file.

Have you tried to add like this ?

bios.setMemDataHeapSections(prog, <Memory>);

Ex:

bios.setMemDataHeapSections(prog, L2SRAM);

Have you tried to add like this and rebuild the project ?

bios.setMemDataHeapSections(prog, <Memory>);

Ex:
bios.setMemDataHeapSections(prog, L2SRAM);
