Video Training

I click on Keystone Multicoree training videos and nothing happens. What do I do next?

  • Tony,

Which browser and version are you using?

Reason is: when I use Firefox, it works fine for me, I can see all the videos and I can play them....if I try IE 11, it does not work for me....we need this detail to report back to our internet team...

  • From www.ti.com go to DSPs, Getting to know TI DSPs, Online Training,Embedded processors DSP, Online training for Keystone Multicore, -
Keystone I C66x - click here to view - a completion bar pops up @ ~ 50% complete and then nothing please help I want to become a Keystone expert. My first TI DSP was the 320C10 - I'm a long time DSP guy, write math models etc. Thanks Tony
  • Tony,

Welcome to the TI E2E forum. I hope you will find many good answers here and in the TI.com documents and in the TI Wiki Pages (for processor issues). Be sure to search those for helpful information and to browse for the questions others may have asked on similar topics (e2e.ti.com).

As suggested by , Could you please provide your setup details for further investigation?

    Thank you.

  • TI's KeyStone online training is compatible with ALL current browsers including IE 11, Chrome, and Firefox. However, Firefox and Chrome are the preferred/recommended browsers for viewing this training.

NOTE: Some personal/network firewalls may prevent Flash content from loading. If this issue persists across networks/devices, please let us know and we'll work out arrangements to get you the training you need.

  • Thanks for the quick reply. I downloaded Firefox and an Adobe Flash upgrade and the problem persists.

I am going back and checking the firewall config and try to resolve the issues. I am going to be out for ~

2 weeks but will return and resolve these issues as I'm comitted to becoming a Keystone expert.

    Thank for your help.

    Tony

  • Tony,
Thanks for your feedback...we need to figure this out, because many more customers could be facing same issue you are....

    Rob,
we may need to chat by phone...my IE11 does not work with the training....

(I am adding a new comment here: I was on the phone with Rob and we just need to disable the compatibility mode and now it is working with IE11 - thanks Rob)

  • Rogerio, per our discussion, Compatability View settings must be disabled in order to access content through the training portal (training.ti.com) using IEv11. This is a known issue. My understanding oid that IE is not likely to be supported on TI.com beyond 2015, as Microsoft is no longer updating IE.

Tony, keep us posted on whether firewall issues are preventing flash/.swf content from coming through. That is likely the cause of your issues. As mentioned, we can make other arrangements to get you the content you need if the problem persists.

  • Hi Tony,

All the external training links are recovered across all the browers and platforms. Please check if you can access those without any issues.

    Thank you.
