As per my project requirements, we are exploring if packet DMA can be used for SRIO transfers with Direct IO mode. We are looking for data transfers between c6678 DSP core and an external device.
From brief study of manuals, we are of the opinion that packet DMA can be used only for SRIO transfers involving message passing. Please let us know if there are ways to use packet DMA with SRIO Direct IO mode.
