C6713 access to NOHOLD

Data sheet SGUS0491 August 2003 page 105 not 3 for table 11-14: setting NOHOLD=1.

This is the only place NOHOLD is listed in the document. I am assuming NOHOLD is a bit in a register. How do we access this bit?

Thank You for your help. Tony

  • Hello Anthony,

Welcome to the TI E2E forum. I hope you will find many good answers here and in the TI.com documents and in the TI Wiki Pages (for processor issues). Be sure to search those for helpful information and to browse for the questions others may have asked on similar topics (e2e.ti.com).

Yes, the NOHOLD is a bit in the EMIF Global Control Register (GBLCTL). Please refer section 3.7.1 EMIF Global Control Register (GBLCTL) in the EMIF user guide.

Also the data manual revision is updated and the document number is SPRS186L. You can find the updated data manual in the product page.

    Regards,
