Accelerometer

Hello,

is there an accelerometer competly built in in BBB android? Something i can just plug and avoid writing porting code? I've seen a lot of devices in kernel.

But .. really.. something i dont have to go mad with... just plug - compile and go?

Hi Gianmaria,

Android am335xevm and am335xevm_sk support the following: ST LIS3LV02DL over i2c (kernel support + android support).
The support for beaglebone / beaglebone black should be pretty straightforward:
- copy relevant file from device/ti/am335xevm to device/ti/beagleboneblack
- edit the i2c bus address
- make sure kernel configuration is enabled for this device
- edit the board file to configure the i2c address
