Guidance to create *.ipk package of my application for Sitara AM335x based architecture.

I want to create a package (*.ipk) of my application; so that it can be able to explore over the board based on AM335x Sitara processor. Also clarify me as I understand that all the packages running on a particular system are architecture based.

Hi,

Given you've created your apps .bb file & set up your environment accordingly (arago-project.org/.../Setting_Up_Build_Environment). Then you can use the following commands to generate the .ipk file:
MACHINE=am335x-evm bitbake -f -c compile <YOUR_APP_RECIPE_NAME>
MACHINE=am335x-evm bitbake -f -c install <YOUR_APP_RECIPE_NAME>
MACHINE=am335x-evm bitbake -f -c package <YOUR_APP_RECIPE_NAME>

Or you can use the following example as a reference:
