Dear Ti E2E Community,

As am doing factory flashing of custom board, am able to see this CCCCCCCCCC messages on the beaglebone black, But am unable to get CCCCCCCCCCCC on the Console after erasing eMMC in my custom board which is based on beaglebone black using sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/mmcblk1 bs=1024 count=1024 in my custom board, could you please let me know why am unable to get CCCCCCCCCCCC

Kindly do the needful as early as possible

Hi,

What are your sysboot settings? The "CCC" string is output only if UART0 is included in the boot device list.

Thanks a lot for your info Biser. it very helpful for my further analysis of the issue

We are using the same sysboot settings same as beagle bone black boot configuration, But in our custom board GSM is interfaced via UART0,
Do I still get CCCCC??? now in custom board even after GSM is interfaced via UART0???

You can check the UART0 TXD line with a scope to see if the "CCC.." string is sent.

Thanks a lot for your very quick responses Biser will verify for sure,

Final target is as we are flashing custom board via uniflash, Finally my concern is that why Custom board is not getting detected as USB/RNDIS with no images in custom board, where as this works in case of Beaglebone black, when I connect using usb cable from board to PC with no images in beaglebone black

There are several conditions for USB boot - USB0 must be used and it must be in Device mode. You can check section 26.1.8.6 of the AM335X TRM Rev. L for details.

As for Uniflash, this is supported on the CCS forum: e2e.ti.com/.../81 Please ask all Uniflash related questions there.
