Dear Team,

Could you please guide how the Exception Call Stack can be checked in the field?

Of course, I know it can be checked in the CCS when JTAG was connected. But, I don't know how it can be checked at the runtime in the field without connecting JTAG, and make log for it.

Could you please guide how this Exception Call Stack can be utilized in the field?

Hi SI,

What board/target are you using ?

I dont think we have any libraries that will let you get the stack back trace at runtime. You can always log the exception dump at runtime and that should provide enough info to debug the problem.

Targets are Keystone I/II family - TCI6608(C6678) and TCI6638K2K. Could you please let me know how the exception log was captured?

As for the exception log capture, do you mean using MPM? or is there any other method to get exception log capture?

Hi SI,

The Exception module in SYS/BIOS uses System_printf() to print the exception dump. System module in turn will either use SysMin or SysStd module to print the data. You can plugin your own callback function in the SysMin module and in the output function you can send the data to UART for logging. Here's how you can add your own output function:

Alternatively, you can plugin SysCallback as the SupportProxy for System and point it to your custom output functions:
