[C6748] Enable Cache

Please let me confirm the following question.

Is there a potential that the caches on L1D, L1P and L2 is not enabled?
If yes, would you please show me the method how to enable them?

Hi Kato,

By default L1D, L1P and L2 will be in enabled state.
L1D and L1P configured would be configured as all cache and L2 configured as all RAM.

Hi Arvind,

thank you for this information. In which official TI document can this info be found?

[SPRUG82] TMS320C674x DSP Cache User's Guide says that the "configuration at boot time depends on the particular C674x device".
I couldn't really find the info in [SPRS590] which is C6748's datasheet. Could you please guide me to the correct technical document?

If the boot loader changes the power on reset values of cache configuration , it will be captured in the boot loader application note.

The default configurations are also captured in the c6748 TRM.
