Trouble connecting the TMS320C5515 via the CCS

Hello everyone, I am working on a DSP project and I'm new to the programming of kits. I had a problem in the very first steps while connecting the card to my machine (USB stick). I've got windows 8 and I've downloaded CCS v6 ( the latest version ), but still, the machine couldn't detect the card. Any tips ?

    Hi,

    Can you let us know the C5515 hardware  and emulator type that you are using.

    Also what is the error you are getting ?

    Hello Vasanth,

    I'm using the TMS320C5515 Fixed-Point Digital Signal Processor and to connect it to my machine, I followed the steps in the USBSTK5515_QuickStartGuide.pdf document. But reaching the 8th step of the CCS configuration intructions when connecting to the target, we get the error of: "error initializing emulator spectrum digital DSK-EVM". We tried CCS v6 and v4, in both of them, we get the same error.

    Hi Zoubida,

    I am not sure whether you are using the right emulator. Attached snapshot for your reference and confirmation on emulator.

    I used USBSTKC5515 hardware ( not C5515 EVM) and CCS6.
