Which versions of CCS and MCSDK should I use for TMDSEVM6678LE evaluation?

I have the TMDSEVM6678LE eval board and would like to use the MCSDK to evaluate code on this processor (run and modify examples etc). The current version of CCS is v 6.1.0. What version of both the MCSDK and CCS do you recommend I use together to do this evaluation? The current getting started guide for MCSDK seems out of date. Is there a current getting started guide with installation steps listed to accomplish this task or should I use the older versions of CCS and MCSDK listed in the older getting started guide?

Hi,

Use the below link to download the latest MCSDK for Keystone I devices(C6657/70/78).
software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html

CCS 5.2 and above version is required for this MCSDK package. Better to install CCS 5.5.

Thank you for your feedback. I unistalled my previous version of CCS and re-installed CCS v5.5 from the link given. It appeared to install correctly. I then installed the MCSDK from the link (and also installed the patch). When I reopen CCS it discovers several new items from the MCSDK install and attempts to install those into CCS but I get the following error: Any suggestions?

Deselect the NDK_2.21.1.38 and click the Finish button on New Product Discovered window.

That worked, thanks.
It looked like a different version of NDK_2.21.1.xx was correctly installed. Do I need to worry about NDK_2.21.1.38 not being installed?

It is fine for MCSDK package installation. Don't worry about this NDK_2.21.1.38 package, it is known issue for CCS plugin.
