try to run my c6657 DSP with full load?

Hi,

i am using c6657 dual core DSP. i want to run full load on my DSP. i am using only one core now, i want to run my one core with full load, does TI has some example program which i can use it and run my DSP with full load, not writing the program again from my side.

What you mean by full load? Are you looking for DSP performance testing examples?

Thank you for the fast response.
yes you are right, i want to test the DSP performance.Means i want to run my DSP cores with full speed and to reach the 100% cpu load for each core.
if the TI has such examples, please tell me. first i want to test with one core and use the same example for second core in my case.

Linpack is a good candidate to run on all cores and make it as loaded as possible. You can download one example here for Keystone I device(C6678):

hi,

can i also configure this linpack for c6657(two core) on my custom board? or it is only for c6678evm?

Yes. You can use it however you need change it for C6657. As of now this has been tested only on C6678.

Hi Ramana,

There is one another method to visualize the CPU load of the core by executing demo application ( for example, processing an image on a single core and visualizing the CPU load and its activity. )

It is called as System analyser. Its features can be used to analyze the core's performance and its real time visibility.

For more info on System analyser and the usage of it by running the demo application on multicore, please visit.

In the above link, you may find the image processing demo app for C6678. But for your C6657, you may think of using the system analyser with any of the demo examples meant for C6657.

i am in the debug session, Tools->SystemAnalyzer->Live. i want to see the cpu load graph and can't able to see. please look at the diagram i gave below and please tell me. what is missing from side.
