nRESETin_out glitch?

Hello,

We are building a custom board based on BeagleBoneBlack.  One of the circuits on BBB schematic contains an OR circuit of nRESETIN_OUT signal with PORz. in order to avoid a supposed pre-mature glitch on nRESETIN_OUT line.

Circuit in question:

BeagleBoard.or comment about the circuit:

Rev A6: 1) "Based on notification from TI, in random instances there could be a glitch in the SYS_RESETn signal from the processor where the SYS_RESETn signal was taken high for a momentary amount of time before it was supposed to. To prevent this, the signal was ORed with the PORZn (Power On reset)."

This circuit is missing from AM335x-EVM boards. Can someone please provide more details\history of this nRESETIN_OUT glitch? We were unable to find any references of this in any of the silicon errata documents, is there something we are missing, or is beaglebone black schematic over-designing this part of the circuit?
