how to choose the right Camera

hi all,

i have a DM6446 EVM board witch contain a camera with a resolution of (720*480)px, for my application i need a camera with a high resolution witch can give a clear image, so i wonder if someone can give me some references, and also i want to know if the DSP would support the new camera resolution. if so can anyone please share the code to run in CCS

Hi,

Their is a third party vendor supported camera (LI-5M01), which might fulfill your requirements.

hi Arvind,
thanks for replying, actually the links gives me error, nevertheless when i searched for LI-5MO1 i found that it works for DVSDK 1.30.00 software version, but for me i have a DM6446 EVM V 1.20. can you plz give an other reference for suitable camera?

Hi sisia sousou,

If you are not having any dependencies on DVSDK v1.20, I will recommend you to switch to latest DVSDK.
We are using Swann C-510R having 1/4-inch CCD image sensor with resolution of 400 TV Lines or 512 x 582 (PAL), 512 x 492 (NTSC) supported by DVSDK_2_00_00_22.
