DM8148 NAND FLash Burn with Single Image

Hi,

This is Bobby from AudioCodes company.

I am working on the EVB board basing on EZSDK of "ti-ezsdk_dm814x-evm_5_05_02_00", Per each testings are ok.

Now, I am trying to change the filesystem from jffs2 to UBIFS, because the JFFS2 image will cause a issue of broken block when working on NAND FLASH(SD card work fine).

But now, it is so trouble to program so many images (by command "nand write.i" and "mw.b" in bootloader stage), such as "u-boot.min.nand", "u-boot.bin", "uImage" and more, can I generate a single image(such as *.img or *.rmt) to program to NAND flash, it will help factory usage very much!

Would you tell me how to implement it? It is so rushed due to the factory pushed me everyday.

I am not aware of such approach/tool.

What I can propose you is to check our CCS JTAG NAND flash tool, it might be faster:

There is also NAND flash script which might be in help to you:

Hi Pavel,

I'm really appreciate for your so fast reply.
I know that script which we are using.
But it is not good for factory, factory will program it by a FLASH burner.
so, the FLASH burner needs a single image.
I knows some guy implemented such utility to organize U-boot/Kernel/Filesystem by section.map file.
Would TI have such utility to generate a single image with many images?
only for the factory usage.
please advise!
